Embark on a thrilling adventure that will immerse you in the country’s diverse landscapes and wildlife.

Spend a night in the captivating Kalahari Desert, where endless horizons and a wonderful light play over the vast desert landscape are waiting for you. Next, explore the iconic Sossusvlei for two nights and wander on top of the towering red sand dunes that paint an awe-inspiring picture.  Go on hiking tracks through the desert to reach Dead Vlei with the beautiful contrast of a grey clay pan, dead acacia trees, and orange dunes.

Indulge in two nights of pure bliss in the coastal town of Swakopmund afterward to take a breath from your desert adventures.  Here you can head for adrenaline-filled activities, interesting desert tours, and photographic highlights like Sandwich Harbour but also treat yourself to the many phenomenal restaurants and cute cafes. Then you head further north, to discover the spectacular Erongo Mountains with the famous Spitzkoppe and their abundant wildlife during a night’s stay. On your way up north, you can drive along a short part of the Skeleton Coast

On the way up north into Damaraland, you will stop for one night close to the World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein and explore the ancient rock engravings and tribal history of this magnificent place.  Palmwag, surrounded by untouched wilderness and incredible wildlife sightings is your next destination for two nights to give you enough time to search for desert-adapted elephants and rhinos.

Journey through the renowned Etosha National Park, with three nights to witness exciting wildlife encounters at every turn and enjoy a campfire night with lions roaring in the distance. Finally, spend two nights at a private game farm, partaking in exhilarating horseback rides and invigorating hikes around Otavi’s pristine mountain landscapes.

If you book our Luxury accommodation package, the two nights will be spent at Erindi Private Reserve, where Hippos and Wilddogs await you in this pristine eco-tourism hotspot. It can also be added to other packages on request.

Day 1

Windhoek & Kalahari

Welcome to Namibia! Your adventure begins with a seamless car rental pick-up, ensuring a comfortable journey ahead. The shuttle service is already waiting for you at the airport. Afterward, treat your taste buds to a delightful lunch in one of Windhoek’s charming restaurants, savoring local flavors. We also recommend preparing for the upcoming road trip with enough water and some snacks. Next, embark on a picturesque drive through the stunning landscapes, finally arriving at your first lodge nestled in the enchanting Kalahari. Get ready for an unforgettable experience that awaits you!

Namib Desert & Sossusvlei

Enjoy the scenic drive as you make your way to your lodge, either nestled within or outside the Namib-Naukluft Park, depending on your accommodation package. Dead Valley Lodge

Dead Valley Lodge is one of the few accommodations with its own entrance gate to the National Park, therefore giving you the opportunity to reach the dunes before official opening hours. This allows you to watch the rising sun from a prime seat on top of the dunes. The Lodge offers first-class cuisine and a pool overlooking Elim Dune. Day 4 & 5

Swakopmund

Make your way along the Namib-Naukluft Park up north, heading towards the coast of Namibia. Pass through the charming town of Solitaire, known for its nostalgic atmosphere and delicious apple pie. Navigate the scenic Kuiseb & Gaub Pass, treating your eyes to breathtaking vistas, and stop for amazing photo spots. Finally, arrive in the picturesque coastal town of Swakopmund, where German colonial architecture meets thrilling adventure activities, making it a true gem of Namibia’s coastline, which will be your home for the next two days.

Day 6

Erongo Mountains & Spitzkoppe

When heading to your next stop in the Erongo Mountains, you can take the road up to Cape Cross along a short part of the Skeleton Coast and visit one of the mysterious and abundant shipwrecks as well as the vivid Seal Colony at Cape Cross.

Afterward, embark on a mesmerizing drive to the Erongo Mountains, with the iconic Spitzkoppe as a breathtaking highlight. Day 7

Damaraland & Twyfelfontein

Head north to a captivating drive from the Erongo Mountains to Damaraland, dominated by orange, rolling hills, and dry riverbeds. Here you’ll enjoy an overnight stay near the world heritage site of Twyfelfontein. Explore the ancient rock art sites created by the San-Bushmen thousands of years ago. Day 10

Etosha South-West

Etosha, a wildlife enthusiast’s paradise is waiting. You will have the opportunity to spot majestic elephants, graceful giraffes, and elusive predators like shy leopards and proud lions. Day 11 & 12

Etosha East

From Etoshas southwest, you head in the eastern direction to Lindequist gate. Recognize the changing landscape of the Nationalpark from west to east. Witness the vast diversity of vegetation, from Mopane woodlands to open grasslands, providing a picturesque backdrop for abundant wildlife sightings. Keep an eye out for iconic species like the majestic lion, graceful springbok, and elegant Oryx as you traverse this remarkable landscape. Outside of the Park gate, your next accommodation is waiting for you with comfort and wildlife encounters at private reserves. At Gabus, immerse yourself in a tranquil oasis, surrounded by lush landscapes, enjoy a good book at the pool overlooking the lodge’s waterhole, and taste Namibia wine collection at the nearby vineyard. Do you need more action? Then you might want to head out for a horseback safari or mountain hike, coming close to giraffes and mountain zebras.

Day 15 & Flight Home on Day 16

So if there is some time left, visit the vibrant craft markets, historic landmarks like the Christuskirche, or unwind at charming cafes and restaurants.
